calANdrier is a calendar platform developed by Silex SAS that provides teams with the tools they need to orchestrate their work.
The term calANdrier relates to a service while Silex SAS relates to the legal person offering this service.
When you use and interact with calANdrier websites, products and services, we process data collected from and about you in order to provide you with access to our tools, an enhanced experience and support. In other words, we collect, use, transmit, store, share and erase your data.
At Silex, our mission is yours. The trust and partnership of our customers are of particular importance to us. That’s why we wrote our entire privacy statement to further clarify how we use your data.
This Privacy Statement describes how Silex processes your data and explains the choices available to you regarding your data.

What matters to us
It is important to us that you can clearly understand how we process your data and what rights you have under privacy and data protection laws. We’ve designed our Privacy Statement to make it short and simple, reducing the amount of legal jargon and defined terms wherever possible.
Please note here that we do not store data related to connected calendars. Only data relating to your account is stored. Your calendar data is stored on the connector side: Google, Microsoft, Trello or Jira. Bank data is stored by Stripe.
Our relationship with you
In situations where our users are subject to our Subscription Agreement, Master Enterprise Services Agreement, or other Master Services Agreement to use the calANdrier services, Silex is the processor/service provider (a provider that processes personal data on behalf of or at the direction of a controller, or other similar designation under law) and our client (usually a company or organization) is the company/controller the processing (the entity that decides how and why the data is processed) of the data provided to Silex through the use of the calANdrier application. In all other cases, Silex is the data controller.
For example, if you create an account with
- your professional e-mail address, your company is the controller of this data.
- a free email domain (like gmail.com) or a personal email account, Silex is the data controller.
The calANdrier application can be used by companies or by individual users:
If you use the calANdrier app through your business, school, or with your work email address, the calANdrier administrator at your business or school is responsible for accounts associated with that business or school and may: restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Services or your ability to use the Services, access data about you, or access data stored with us (including your workspace content and data regarding your use of calANdrier), and restricting your ability to rectify, restrict, modify or delete data associated with your use of our products and services.
Data we process
Silex SAS processes data we obtain directly from you, data automatically collected when you use calANdrier or visit one of our websites, and data collected by Silex SAS from third parties. However, please note that this Privacy Statement does not apply to the processing of your data by third parties, through your use of third party integrations available through our services. Please consult these third-party websites directly for more information on their privacy and data protection practices.
Data that Silex SAS obtains directly from you
Data required to create an account
These include the data necessary to allow Silex SAS to create your account and manage your ability to connect to calANdrier and disconnect:
- Identifiers, e.g. first name, last name and email address
- Your calANdrier password (hashed) – unique, long and complex, please
- Information about a third-party authentication identity provider, for example Google Authenticator
If you upgrade your account to a paid account, Silex SAS may collect the following data:
- Billing data, including name, address and telephone number
- Financial data, including credit card data collected by Stripe
- Data concerning the calANdrier subscription you have chosen
Data you provide to us through your use of calANdrier
- Data that you provide in the display of your calendars
- Data uploaded to calANdrier, for example .json or .ical files
- Profile picture and other data you choose to include to describe yourself, collected only if you choose to provide them, for example your gender pronouns
- Any other data you choose to provide when using calANdrier, which identifies you or can reasonably be associated with you
Other data you may provide to us when interacting with calANdrier in other ways
You may voluntarily provide us with data when you interact with us in other ways, such as when you interact directly with Silex SAS staff, including our sales, user research or operations teams. Silex SAS may process the following data:
- Your requests, your questions and your answers that you send to us through the forms or by e-mail
- Data to verify your identity
- Your date of birth
- Your audio and video, if you participate in a sales call or user research study and do not opt out of call recording, which also involves the collection of biometric data associated with call recordings
Data processed automatically when you visit our websites or use our mobile app or desktop app
Data about your use of calANdrier and our websites
We may also collect the following data:
- Metadata and inferred data about your use of calANdrier, our websites, and third-party integrations, to better understand how you work on calANdrier. We may log the actions you take while using calANdrier, the types of files you share, and, if any, third-party integrations you use.
- Internet network activity, cookies and similar tracking technologies, including data that our servers automatically log, for example your web request, IP address, browser type and settings, pages and URLs return/exit, number of clicks, timestamp information, language preferences and the like. - Data collected through participation in beta testing
- Device and activity data when you use calANdrier via a mobile device, such as the type of device you use, device identifiers, operating system version and network information mobile, which may include your mobile phone number.
Data that Silex SAS obtains from other sources
Sometimes Silex SAS obtains some of your data from third parties (other people, marketing services, third party integrations), which may include the following:
- Data processed from third-party integrations that you set up on calANdrier. For example, a third-party integration may give us access to data stored with this third party that Silex SAS will process to facilitate the integration.
- Name, email and business contact details
Google Data
The data requested and treated from your Google account can be divided into two categories :
- Connecting to the application calANdrier using any Google account
- Displaying events and calendars stored in Google Calendar into the application calANdrier
When you are connecting your Google calendars with the calANdrier app, we are requesting and treating some data provided by Google which are :
- User data : we store the Firstname and the Lastname to identify the user
- Calendars data : only displayed, nothing stored or shared.
- Events data : only displayed, nothing stored or shared.
These data are never stored, only treated and displayed.
How we use your data
Silex SAS uses your data to operate our products and services, communicate with you, process transactions when you change calANdrier subscriptions, for security and for fraud prevention, and to comply with the law. We may process your data for the following purposes:
To provide services to you and conduct our business
- Maintain, provide and improve our products and services
- Help us better understand user interests and needs, and customize calANdrier for you
- Analyze and research how you interact with our websites and apps
- Protecting calANdrier and protecting yourself, for example :
- Securing our systems and products against fraud or unauthorized activity
- Identify, troubleshoot and fix bugs and errors
- Comply with global laws and regulations
- Investigate (in good faith) suspected violations of our Terms of Service
- Comply with a subpoena, demand or other legal process that meets the requirements of our Law Enforcement Guidelines for Data Requests or which we otherwise believe is necessary to comply with
- If you use calANdrier within the framework of an organization, a company or an educational establishment, Silex SAS will process your personal data in accordance with our contract with your organization or your educational establishment. In addition, we use data about your use of calANdrier, account data (including your email address and name), and data about third-party integrations for the following purposes:

Combined data
Unless prohibited by law, we may combine data we collect through your use of our products and services with data we receive from other sources, both online and offline, and use that combined data as indicated above.
Aggregated and non-identifiable data
We may aggregate and/or use non-identifiable data about your use of calANdrier(e.g. the number of calendars you have connected) so that this data can no longer be linked to you or your device. We may use this aggregated and non-identifiable data for any purpose, including but not limited to research and marketing purposes, and may also share this data with third parties, including advertisers, promotional partners , sponsors, event promoters and/or other third parties.
How we share your data
We need to share the data we collect about you to make our products and services work smoothly and to operate our business under the following conditions:
- Service Providers and Sub-processors. We may provide access to your data or share it with certain third parties who use this data on our behalf to assist Silex SAS in the provision of the services, the website and the calANdrier functionalities. These third parties provide various services to us, including, but not limited to, sales, marketing, content and functionality delivery, advertising, analytics, research, data storage, security, fraud prevention and other services.
- Because you allow us to share them. We may disclose your data to third parties when you authorize us to do so. This is particularly the case when you connect calANdrier to other tools via our available integrations.
- If your company has its own calANdrier account administrator. If you’re using calANdrier as part of an organization, educational institution, or corporate domain, your company’s account administrator can export data associated with the domain he or she manages, if he or she has a subscription allowing him or her to do so.
We use and share the categories of information we collect from and about you in accordance with the various business purposes we discuss throughout this Privacy Statement. Silex SAS takes technical and organizational measures to protect your data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorized access. When you use calANdrier, data about you will be stored in the EU.

Use by children under 16
If you are under 16, you may not have a calANdrier account or use calANdrier products or services. We do not knowingly process data from children under the age of 16, nor do we direct our products or services to them.
Marketing practices and choices
If you receive an email from us, we may use certain analytics tools, for example clear GIFs, to capture data, such as when you open our message or click on links or banners in our email. mail. This data allows us to assess the effectiveness of our communication and marketing campaigns.
You may instruct us not to use your contact information to contact you by email, post or telephone regarding products, services, promotions and special events that may be of interest to you by contacting us under the “We contact” below.
